03 Nov 2009 —  Walgreens to Host Diabetes Wellness Events

Walgreens announced plans to host its first ever Diabetes Wellness Events at over 1,500 stores nationwide in recognition of American Diabetes month. The retailer will host walk in clinic hours during November 9^th to 13^th and November 16^th to 20^th offering free blood glucose testing and free A1C testing. Additionally, Walgreens will donate USD1 to the American Diabetes Association for every test performed during the Diabetes Wellness Events up to USD 100,000.
