Wal-Mart’s new merchandising and marketing initiative, January Healthy Living, aims to help consumers meet their New Year’s Resolutions for exercising, eating well, and quitting smoking. Supported by the tagline, “being healthy costs less at Wal-Mart,” the campaign is supported by in-store signage and national ads. This announcement coincides with the retailer's beginning of Phase Two of Operation Main Street rollbacks on healthy lifestyle products.
